A Family Portrait

I have had such a fun couple of days working on this project! I caught a glimpse of these in Adorn Magazine while waiting for my starbucks the other day and immediately knew I wanted to figure out how to do them for myself! Oh I love them! Check out the A Million Memories Message Board and I should have the instructions up in a bit!

At Twenty-Four...

Well, the online chat and start-up of the A Million Memories Online Crop is over but things are really just starting to heat up. We have already had so many AMAZING LO's entered into our challenges ... and there is still a whole week to join and enter them for a chance to win some awesome prizes from AMM!

Here is my LO for the Crop Foods Challenge. I had to Make my own PP, Go Crazy with the embellies (my choice), Use My Own Handwriting, Use Chipboard, and Use Rub-ons on my Photo.

This was so much fun! The inspiration for my PP was actually the Rub-Ons I used which are from EK Success. I created the PP with some Bazzill Bling and my White Sakura Gelly Roll! This was so fun and I could do it while watching TV with my Joey!

The Chipboard is from a Hobby Lobby Mega-pack and the super fun embellie is actually this super cute button that came in a pack of four form Borders! They were so cute and fun I couldn't pass them up! It's juiced up with a misc. button and a little bling! TFL!

Hip Hip Chick

I did this one for AMM's ScrapJack Challenge which was hosted by DT Memeber *Emily*...

It's my cousin-in-law Helen who is so incredibly cool! She listens to the coolest music, has a great sense of style ... and she is so super intelligent! She seems SO much older than 15 sometimes!

It's BG Phoebe again! With the Phoebe mini-monogram. Also I have some of the Jo-Ann Rhinestones, Prima Flower, and some "type" style brads from my stash that I got at Big Lots and now don't remember who makes them!!

I had so much fun doing this one! Oh, and the pic is one she edited in photoshop that I took from her myspace page!

I hope you like it Helen !!

Spring Cleaning Anyone ??

Well today I started in on some much needed spring cleaning. I'm expecting several shipments of fun fun stuff (oh I can't wait for my AMM stuff!!) so I HAD to celan up my studio before anyhting new could come in. I'm weird that way! So after cleaning and re-oganizing all my scrap stuff I decided to tackle my studio's closet. Can you believe I've been lugging around three boxes full of notebooks, binders, textbooks, and envelopes of school stuff for almost three years now!?! Why? I used to keep EVERYTHING with the thought that one day I might need it again. But seriously when am I going to think "Oh I should look that up in my Macro-Economics notes!" So today I purged.

The other fun thing Joey and I did today was venture out to Home Depot to pick up a TON of Behr paint swatches. I am determined to get my studio and bedroom painted before April 1st. I know we are moving soon but I can't stand all of the white walls in this house for another week let along a few more months. Plus our landlord will let us take the money we spend on paint and supplies out of the rent ~ so that's super cool.

dELiA*s

Okay so back in upper middle and high school I was always 100% in love with my dELiA*s catalog. We didn't have a store nearby so I would go through each catalog and circle all the rockin' clothes I wanted for Christmas, birthdays, etc.... Well, yesterday I went out to Naples Mall and guess what!*! They put in a brand new dELiA*s. Oh I was so excited! And check out what I found there....

Is this not the cutest little henley ever? It has scissors on it! I think this may be my new super cute crop wear. I'll post a modeled pic of it the first time I wear it!

Small Talk

Title: Small Talk
Size: 12x12
Paper: Bazzill, American Crafts
Ribbon: American Crafts
Alpha: Doodlebug

411: This is a page I did from the ScrapJammies kit "Sixth Avenue". I loved the mix of patterns in this kit and thought they went great with all the "graffiti" on the tables and walls of Gino's! TFL.

Naughty & Nice?

Title: Naughty & Nice?
Size: 8.5x11
Paper: Anna Griffon, DCWV, Provo Craft, the Paper Co., SEI "Twitterpated"
Alpha: Doodlebug

411. These are the ONLY pictures I have from our Bachelorette/Bachelor parties in Chicaog and they aren't the greatest quality but I really wanted to do a fun LO with them to preserve the memory! This was a fun one to do. The skull isn't a pattern I just sketched one free-hand. Skulls are really cute and popular right now, very funky - they are easy to sketch out so try them !! TFL !!

Diary of a Bride

Title: Diary of a Bride
Size: 12x12
Paper: My Mind's Eye "Bohemia" Collection, Page torn from my Journal
Alpha: Creative Imagination Sonnets
Embellies: Basic Grey Rub-ons, JoAnn Scrap Essentials Metallic Brads

411. This LO was done for the ScrapJammies Online Crop Elsie Sketch Challenge and Ad Challenge. I just love how cute they came out. Sometimes I interpret these challenges so literally so I was happy that this time I could really create something that was my own while still living up to the heart of the challenge! Plus, I think it was a great way to scrap what my thoughts were that day as I was getting ready. What a great way to preserve them so that later our kids can read it and think about our day from a very personal place!
