Spring Cleaning Anyone ??

Well today I started in on some much needed spring cleaning. I'm expecting several shipments of fun fun stuff (oh I can't wait for my AMM stuff!!) so I HAD to celan up my studio before anyhting new could come in. I'm weird that way! So after cleaning and re-oganizing all my scrap stuff I decided to tackle my studio's closet. Can you believe I've been lugging around three boxes full of notebooks, binders, textbooks, and envelopes of school stuff for almost three years now!?! Why? I used to keep EVERYTHING with the thought that one day I might need it again. But seriously when am I going to think "Oh I should look that up in my Macro-Economics notes!" So today I purged.

The other fun thing Joey and I did today was venture out to Home Depot to pick up a TON of Behr paint swatches. I am determined to get my studio and bedroom painted before April 1st. I know we are moving soon but I can't stand all of the white walls in this house for another week let along a few more months. Plus our landlord will let us take the money we spend on paint and supplies out of the rent ~ so that's super cool.

I need to do that meredith with all my nursing notes from college! I have 4 big 3-ring binders and folders and i just can't get rid of them! They are in a box in the garage but I just can't get rid of them yet! I haven't looked at them in 17 years!

I am the same way Meredith...I finally got rid of all (okay, most) of my college notes, useless books, etc when we moved last summer. Awesome that your landlord deducts those supplies, etc from your rent...so not typical! Hope you get your studio painted just the right color!

I still have all my notes from LPN, RN school and currently holding on to my notes from working on my BSN! I have been trying to go through stuff and shred and recycle this week!

re: papers from school. YTou are way ahead of me! It took me 10 years to realize that if I hadn't looked at them yet, I probably never would! What a relief to have it all gone.
